Seasons of the Bush – 2024
A flexible weekly planner featuring quotes from ‘A Bush Calendar’ by Amy Mack and original watercolour illustrations.
‘A Bush Calendar’ holds a special place in my heart as an Aussie homeschooler, because it was one of the very first books I read aloud to my children when we started educating at home. I have always loved to stop and observe the natural world, so Amy Mack’s descriptions of the bush really connect with me. I’ve since learnt this classic volume is a favourite among many home educating families in Australia, especially those who follow the principles of Charlotte Mason.
When I decided to make this planner, I chose a key quote from each month of A Bush Calendar* and a key bird or flower to illustrate. Inside, you will see these quotes and illustrations at the start of every month – a fitting way to set the tone for the season ahead and get you thinking about all the changes you will see in the bush.
The weekly spread gives you ample space to organise your week. The left hand side features dated sections, from Monday to Sunday. And the right hand page features a flexible dot grid layout so you can customise it according to your needs.
Some ideas for how to use this page:
- To do list
- Meal plan
- Shopping list
- Top 3 priorities for the week
- Homeschool lesson plan
- Prayer points
- Nature journaling and sketching
Two Planner Formats Available
The Seasons of the Bush 2024 planner is available to purchase in two different formats: as a professionally printed paperback from Amazon, or as a PDF file.
– cheaper purchase price
– print it yourself, or have it printed professionally
– choose how you want it bound, including spiral, comb, etc.
– download instantly on purchase
– professionally printed and bound
– glossy finish on cover
– ready to use once it arrives
– no assembly required
Some people prefer spiral-bound planners, so if this is your preference, you can buy the PDF file and have it printed and bound somewhere like Officeworks.
